Conveyor Belt Joint is the strongest and most reliable method of joining a belt and should be used wherever possible, it is nearly as strong as the belt itself is less troublesome than other fastening methods and results in longer belt life. The surface is left smooth so that scrapers and brushes can be used more effectively and with less risk of damage to the belt than with a fastener joint.
